• Device and usage information: browser details, approximate location signals, pages visited, and technical information needed to keep the website secure and functional.
• Location information: if you grant browser permission, NelStore may use your approximate location to show nearby products first. A location hint may be stored in a browser cookie for a limited period.

2. How we use it

NelStore and Neltech Incorporation use information to:

• create and authenticate customer, vendor, and reseller accounts;
• publish and manage product listings from verified sellers;
• process carts, orders, delivery details, and customer-vendor communications;
• display local recommendations, search results, ratings, reviews, and store information;
• respond to support requests and resolve marketplace disputes;
• detect fraud, abuse, fake sellers, suspicious activity, and security threats;
• improve the marketplace, search experience, trust controls, and future payment or delivery services; and
• send service-related messages such as account, order, security, or support updates.

We do not sell your personal information as a standalone data product.

3. When information is shared

We share information only where it is needed to provide the service, protect users, or comply with the law. This may include:

• Marketplace participants: relevant order and contact details may be shared with the vendor involved in fulfilling an order. Public seller profiles and product listings may be visible to marketplace visitors.
• Communication and service providers: hosting, database, email, analytics, security, delivery, and future payment partners may process information on NelStore’s behalf.
• Legal and safety requests: information may be disclosed where required by law, to enforce platform rules, or to protect users, NelStore, and Neltech Incorporation.

When you choose to contact a seller through WhatsApp or another external service, that service’s own privacy policy also applies.

4. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, or transaction purposes. You may also:

• update account and business details through the available account or vendor tools;
• deny browser location permission or clear the location cookie through your browser settings;
• choose what information to include in a public product review or seller profile; and
• contact support about an account, privacy request, or suspected misuse of your information.

5. Security and retention

NelStore uses access controls, password hashing, database safeguards, moderation, verification, and monitoring to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please keep your credentials private and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the marketplace, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the platform. When information is no longer required, we aim to delete or anonymize it securely.
