These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the NelStore website and marketplace. NelStore is a multi-vendor platform operated by Neltech Incorporation; it helps buyers discover products and gives businesses tools to reach customers online.
1. The NelStore marketplace
NelStore provides the technology, product discovery, seller visibility, communication tools, and marketplace support. Sellers, not NelStore, generally own and supply the products displayed on the platform. A product listing, verified badge, rating, or featured position does not mean NelStore manufactures, owns, or guarantees every product.
Our vision is to build a trusted marketplace for Cameroon and, over time, a broader Central African digital commerce ecosystem. Features described as future services—including online payments, delivery integrations, affiliate tools, premium subscriptions, analytics, AI recommendations, and mobile applications—may not yet be available and may be introduced, changed, or withdrawn.
2. Accounts and seller responsibilities
- Provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials confidential.
- Use only accounts you are authorized to use. Notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
- Sellers must provide truthful business, product, price, stock, location, contact, and delivery information.
- Sellers are responsible for lawful products, fulfilment, customer communication, warranties, returns, taxes, permits, and obligations that apply to their business.
- NelStore may review, moderate, suspend, reject, or remove accounts and listings that are inaccurate, unsafe, fraudulent, unlawful, or inconsistent with these terms.
3. Listings, orders, and communication
Product information is supplied by sellers and may change. Buyers should review the description, price, stock, location, seller details, and delivery arrangements before placing an order. An order request is not complete until the relevant seller confirms availability and fulfilment arrangements.
NelStore may provide WhatsApp or other direct communication links so buyers and sellers can coordinate. Those external services are separate from NelStore and have their own terms. Buyers and sellers must communicate respectfully and must not use marketplace contact details for spam, harassment, fraud, or unrelated marketing.
Current checkout and delivery options may vary. Where online payments, delivery partners, commissions, subscriptions, advertising, verification fees, or featured listings are introduced, additional pricing and service terms may apply before you use them.
4. Ratings and reviews
Reviews and ratings should reflect a genuine shopping experience. Do not submit fake, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, promotional, or misleading content, review your own listing, manipulate ratings, or offer rewards for dishonest feedback.
By submitting a review, you give NelStore permission to display it on the marketplace and use it to improve trust and discovery. You retain responsibility for your content. NelStore may edit for formatting, hide, or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use NelStore to:
- sell prohibited, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, or unlawfully regulated goods;
- impersonate another person or business, create fake verification, or misrepresent a product;
- scrape, reverse engineer, overload, probe, or interfere with the website or its security;
- upload malicious code or content that infringes another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights; or
- circumvent moderation, account restrictions, payment controls, or dispute processes.
We may preserve evidence, restrict access, cancel marketplace activity, or report suspected fraud and unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities.
6. Support, disputes, and responsibility
NelStore aims to support transparent dispute resolution through seller verification, customer support, moderation, ratings, and clear communication. If there is a product, delivery, payment, or seller dispute, contact us promptly with the relevant order and evidence. We may facilitate communication, but a seller remains responsible for the products and promises it makes.
To the extent permitted by law, NelStore and Neltech Incorporation are not responsible for a seller’s independent acts, product quality, delivery delay, external WhatsApp communications, or service interruption beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the marketplace grows, new payment or delivery features launch, or legal and security requirements change. Continued use after an updated version is published means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant service and contact us about your account.
